Who is the Executive/Constitutional head of State government?

    The executive or constitutional head of the state government is the Governor of the state. There is a Council of Ministers to assist and advise the Governor. The Governor acts as per the advice of the Council of Ministers and the Council of Ministers is collectively responsible to the Legislative Assembly. The executive power of the state is constitutionally vested in the governor. But in real terms, these powers are exercised by the council of ministers.
